Rooted & Rising™
A combating trafficking in persons program
Rooted & Rising™ is a tiered initiative designed to empower individuals who are at risk, involved in, or have exited trafficking to rebuild and thrive. Made possible by dedicated grant funding, our interdisciplinary team delivers personalized, culturally informed care to ensure essential health services reach underserved and remote communities across Alberta. We provide coordinated care that fosters trust, resilience and growth – helping participants move forward with the tools and support they need. Participation in the Rooted & Rising is voluntary and guided by a caring team of professionals.
This program is available in-person and virtually to residents of BC.
NextStep ™
A vocational support program for teens with special needs
NextStep™ helps teens with autism, learning differences or developmental disabilities transition confidently from high school into the workforce. Designed for youth aged 16+, the program bridges the gap between school support and real-world employment by offering assessments, job readiness training, career exploration, job shadowing and one-on-one coaching. Youth gain workplace skills, communication strategies and hands-on experience that build independence and long-term employment success. Families can choose flexible services tailored to goals and budget.

QuickStart™
An early intervention program for teens & young adults seeking direction
QuickStart™ supports youth who are finishing high school and feeling uncertain about their future direction, regardless of diagnosis. Through personalized sessions with Occupational Therapists, Counsellors and Vocational Experts, participants develop meaningful goals, strengthen daily routines, build life skills, improve lifestyle habits and prepare for employment or further education. The program provides structure at a critical life stage, helping youth avoid disengagement and make confident, informed decisions about their next steps.
This program is available in British Columbia, at our Vancouver and Abbotsford clinics, and in Alberta at our Calgary clinic beginning in 2026.
RoadReady™
A driving readiness program for young adults with special needs
RoadReady™ is the first and only program of its kind in Western Canada. Designed for teens and young adults with neurodiversity or physical challenges, it provides a structured, compassionate pathway toward safe and independent driving. The program combines Pediatric Occupational Therapy and Driving Rehabilitation Specialists to conduct comprehensive assessments and personalized on-road and in-clinic training. RoadReady™ equips participants with the cognitive, sensory, emotional and motor coordination skills needed to drive confidently.
