What Sets Infinity Health Apart?
Experience
We’ve helped countless individuals successfully rehabilitate their knees and return to the sports and activities they love. Post-operative knee rehab is a focus of our clinic, and our outcomes reflect that experience.
Technology that matters
Modern rehabilitation requires objective data. Strength, power, and movement quality can—and should—be measured throughout your rehab. Clinics without the right tools are forced to guess and here at Infinity Health, we don’t guess.
Strength, and power are one of the most studied return-to-sport metrics we have, and we assess it properly using industry-leading technology:
- VALD ForceDecks
- VALD Dynamometry
This technology allows us to track progress accurately and make informed decisions at every stage of your rehabilitation.
We also have up to date technology and modalities to further advance your rehab:
- Delfi Blood Flow Restriction (BFR)
- Compex Electrical Muscle Stimulation
- Cryo Cuff Compression Ice System
- Blazepods
Advanced biomechanics
Knee injuries significantly affect how you walk, run, and skate. Simply returning you to sport isn’t enough—we want you moving better than you were before your injury.
Using Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensors and motion-capture cameras, we perform precise biomechanical assessments of your movement. These insights heavily influence how your rehab is progressed and how we prepare you for return to sport.
You will complete two major biomechanical assessments during your rehabilitation, but more if needed:
- A running assessment performed approximately 4 weeks after you begin running
- A skating Assessment performed approximately 4 weeks after you begin light skating
We can also use our motion capture cameras to give you real time feedback to correct your running or skating form.
Testing
Your post-operative rehabilitation should not be based on timelines alone. All of the most up to date research shows that clients are being sent back to activities too early for what their body or knee are prepared for. Here at Infinity Health, we make sure you are ready before we make any further advancements. We use up to date testing protocols and technology to help reduce the likelihood of any re-injury, new injury, or flare up. If you’re not testing, you’re guessing.
Comprehensive ACL rehabilitation handbook
When you trust us with your rehabilitation, you’ll receive our 60-page ACL handbook. This resource outlines your injury, recovery timelines, expectations, education, and a structured exercise program for every phase of your rehab.
Honest, long-term planning
We believe in doing what’s best for you—not maximizing visits. Knee rehabilitation is a long-term process, and we follow a structured visit schedule that reflects the goal of each phase of recovery.
What you do outside the clinic matters most. Our role is to guide you, educate you, reassess your progress, and ensure you’re advancing safely. You don’t need physiotherapy twice a week for a year—and you shouldn’t feel pressured into it.
Recommended Treatment Schedule
For full disclosure, here is our recommended schedule for our post-operative ACL reconstructions. This schedule is subject to change depending on further extent of injury or surgery, and also highly dependent on response to rehabilitation. We just wanted to give everyone access to how we go about things and not hide anything. We do not take your time or financial commitment to this lightly, so if we have to recommend more treatments or re-assessments, it will be truly needed.
