Restore Function, Relieve Pain, & Prevent Injuries

Physiotherapy In Calgary & Beyond

At Infinity Health we believe that healing is personal—and so is physiotherapy. With years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of human movement, our clinic offers comprehensive physiotherapy services designed to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent future injuries.

What We Treat

Whether it’s recovering from surgery, healing after an injury, managing a long-term condition, or working to optimize performance, our physiotherapy team designs personalized treatment plans tailored to our clients’ bodies and goals.

We can help with:

  • Pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation – supporting recovery and restoring mobility.
  • Acute injuries – from sprains and strains to sports or workplace injuries.
  • Chronic conditions – including arthritis, back pain and repetitive strain injuries.
  • Neurological and musculoskeletal issues – improving function and independence.
  • Performance enhancement – strength, mobility, and injury prevention for athletes and active individuals.
  • Pain management – reducing discomfort and improving quality of life.
  • Workplace-related concerns – ergonomic assessments, injury prevention and rehabilitation.

How Our Clinic is Different

What sets us apart is not only our state-of-the-art facility, but the way we bring technology, expertise and patient care together in one seamless experience.

Our team doesn’t rely on ‘one-size-fits-all’ treatment models. Instead, every plan is informed by advanced diagnostics, the latest therapeutic technologies and the clinical insight of highly trained professionals. The result? More sustainable outcomes and care that adapts to each individual’s needs.

Unlike many clinics, we’ve invested in leading-edge equipment and digital tools that enable us to track progress in real-time, prevent future injuries and enhance performance with precision.

Physicians can feel confident referring their patients here, knowing they’ll receive measurable, evidence-based care, while patients experience an environment designed for comfort, healing and long-term wellness.

Infinity Health is proud to be one of the most technologically driven physiotherapy clinics in Canada. But what truly defines us is the human connection we build with every person who walks through our doors.

Treatment Modalities

  • Delfi Blood Flow Restriction Device
  • Radial Shockwave
  • Functional Dry Needling
  • Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)
  • Interferential Current (IFC)
  • Therapeutic Ultrasound
  • Blood Flow Restriction Therapy (BFR)

We use Delfi’s Personalized Tourniquet System to safely apply controlled pressure to the arm or leg, temporarily reducing blood flow during exercise. Sessions are brief and intermittent, about 6 minutes per exercise, up to 30 minutes depending on protocol.

This method allows patients to build strength and muscle with much lower loads, making it especially valuable after injury or surgery when heavy lifting isn’t possible. Research shows significant benefits, particularly for ACL rehabilitation, with earlier gains in strength and hypertrophy.

Backed by extensive peer-reviewed studies and thousands of applications, personalized BFR is proven safe, with little to no reported side effects. Delfi’s patented technology ensures precise, individualized pressure control to support optimal recovery outcomes.

VALD ForceDecks

VALD ForceDecks are advanced dual-force plates that objectively measure strength, balance and neuromuscular control. They capture forces during a wide range of movements, automatically assessing over 20 tests, from squats and jumps toisometric strength, sit-to-stand, and balance assessments, making them suitable for almost any patient, athlete, or performance goal.

A key advantage is the ability to benchmark results against VALD’s extensive normative database, containing millions of data points. This allows clinicians to provide patients with meaningful context, answering the common question: “Was that result good?” with confidence and precision.

Validated against laboratory-grade systems, ForceDecks demonstrate less than 1% difference across 200+ metrics, ensuring accuracy and reliability for rehabilitation, performance training, and clinical decision-making (Collings et al., 2024).

Strength Dynamometry

Strength dynamometry provides precise, objective measurement of muscle force, replacing outdated “manual resistance” testing with validated technology.

Using devices such as the Activforce 2 and Tindeq, clinicians can accurately quantify muscle strength in kilograms, pounds, or newtons, removing guesswork from assessment.

During testing, the device is placed against the targeted limb while the patient exerts maximal effort. The resulting data allows clinicians to evaluate baseline muscle function, track progress over time and tailor rehabilitation programs with confidence.

Widely used in clinical practice, sports medicine, and research, strength dynamometry ensures accurate assessment, improves treatment planning and enhances patient outcomes.

Radial Shockwave Therapy

Radial shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic waves to stimulate tissue healing and pain relief for orthopaedic conditions. It works by delivering radial pressure waves to the affected area, promoting blood circulation, reducing inflammation and potentially breaking down calcifications.

The radial shockwave device generates radial pressure waves (also called shockwaves) that penetrate the tissue up to a few centimeters. These waves stimulate cellular activity, leading to increased blood flow, metabolism and tissue regeneration. The treatment can also reduce pain by stimulating nerve endings and potentially inhibiting pain receptors.

A handpiece with an applicator is placed on the affected area, and a contact gel is used to ensure proper wave transmission. The device then delivers a series of pulses at a low energy level. The treatment is usually painless, although some minor discomfort or pain may be experienced during and immediately after the treatment.

It is used to in the treatment of painful conditions of the musculoskeletal system such as:

  • Chronic tendinopathies or tendon-generated pain
  • Insertional pain
  • Trigger point-generated pain
  • Myofascial pain syndrome
  • Fasciitis type pain
  • Chronic back pain
  • Bursitis
  • Arthrosis
  • Arthritis
  • Calcifications
  • Chronic inflammation

Functional Dry Needling (FDN)

Functional dry needling (FDN) is a technique that uses thin (acupuncture) needles to treat myofascial pain and improve movement. It targets trigger points to relieve local and referred muscle pain, reduce muscle tension and improve range of motion.

During treatment, the needles are typically inserted for a short period, can be rhythmically moved up and down, or hooked up to a stimulator and patients may experience a twitch response in the muscle.

FDN can be used to address a variety of conditions, including myofascial pain, musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries and chronic pain conditions like fibromyalgia.
